This group is designed to provide encouragement and support after the death of a loved one.
“You may be uncomfortable coming to Griefshare; you don’t know what to expect, and possibly unsure about how you feel about sharing your feelings in a small group. These feelings are completely normal. After the first few sessions, you may start to find it helpful to be around people who truly “get” what you’re going through – the emotions, mental fog, questions, and exhaustion – because they’re dealing with it too.
In the weekly videos and workbook, you’ll meet people who’ve walked through grief and share what was helpful for them. You’ll get practical advice and guidance from experts in grief recovery (counselors, pastors) who have experienced deep loss themselves.
Your grief, and the relationship you had with your loved one, is unique. So we encourage you to grieve at your own pace and in your own time. Many people repeat this 13-week cycle more than once as they work through the issues and pain stemming from their grief. Be patient with yourself, and don’t let others rush you through your grief.”
-Sam Hodges, President of GriefShare
Workbooks are $20; you can bring payment to the first session. Any other questions, please contact Marty Lemin at 440-983-7385 or mlemin110@gmail.com
